Shane and MilliePs Shane Lepp & Millie Lepp

Senior Pastor

Pastor Shane is the Senior Pastor of New Horizons Church, and married to Millie. They have 4 adult children and 6 grandchildren.

Ps. Shane took on the role of Senior Pastor in 1995 and has since seen the church grow and develop in numerous ways.  An extension service was planted in Laurimar in 2012, enabling a wider community to be reached with the Gospel.

Ps. Shane and Millie have a heart for the house of God and for His people. Shane has incredible vision to see the communities of New Horizons Church be reached with the Good News of Jesus and is very missional minded.  As the Director of Hands at Work Australia – a missions organisation reaching the most vulnerable communities in Africa with health, education and care, Shane has a passion for communities all over the world in need of the hope and restoration that comes from Jesus Christ. As a former school teacher and principal, Ps. Shane has a gift of communicating and teaching the Word of God powerfully, without compromising its truth.

In addition to supporting Ps. Shane in his role, Millie is a full-time lower primary school teacher. Her love for children is constantly evident, and she is a gifted, creative teacher. She has a passion to see children learn, grow and develop in styles that best suit them.  It was through Millie’s vision and hard work that the Mainly Music program at New Horizons Church began in 2009, which now connects with over 60 families from the Whittlesea and Doreen communities.
